Data Requests allow users to activate the Golden AI and research teams to find information or specific data on a company, person, or technology (Topic or Entity) or a number of entities (Query or List).

To create a Data Request, navigate to the Data Request tab on the Sidebar and you will be taken to the Data Requests index page.

Next, click the 'File a Data Request' button in the top right of the Data Requests index page in order to trigger the Data Request Wizard.

When the Data Request Wizard opens, you can choose between filing a Data Request for a Topic or a Query.

For each type of Data Request you will be able to fine-tune the exact information you want – whether it be a deep dive on a topic, or single data fields.

Once you have chosen your text and data requirements, Enterprise users will have the opportunity to write some contextual notes about your request. All users can provide any useful URLs for insight into your requirements.

The completion screen will give you an ETA for your Data Request, and you can also find the status on the Data Request index page.
There are multiple contextual methods to create a Data Request throughout the platform. Each method triggers the Data Request Wizard.
1.
From the 'Create' dropdown in the top right of any screen on Golden.
2.
From the top right of any Topic page.
3.
When hovering over cells in certain types of tables, such as in the Query Tool, Lists or Smart Tables.
4.
When hovering over the column header in the Query Results, click the down arrow to open a menu with the option to launch a Data Request on the entire column.
